Robert Hines tested positive for lidocaine, a painkilling drug, after winning the International Boxing Federation junior middleweight title from Matthew Hilton, boxing officials said in Las Vegas.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has set a tentative Dec. 16 hearing to decide what action, if any, to take against Hines and Kinchen.
