Winds through Sepulveda Dam Recreation Area Is an excellent route for beginning cyclists. Predominatly Class 1, level and well-marked. From Encino Municipal Golf Course, the path loops along Burbank Blvd., Woodley Ave., Victory Blvd., White Oak, Oxnard St., and Balboa Blvd. The Class II sections are along both sides of White Oak. Along Victory between the 405 freeway and Sepulveda, the path is Class III. Plenty of water and restrooms, a restaurant and snacks along the way. Bike lanes are wide, but watch out for other cyclists and roller skaters, and for cars entering and leaving the golf course.
