A Memphis probate judge on Monday dismissed an inheritance claim by aspiring singer Deborah Delaine Presley, who attempted to claim a stake in Elvis Presley’s $50-million estate because, she alleged, her mother had a 4-day love affair with Elvis--and Deborah Presley was the result of that union. In reviewing her claim, Judge Joseph Evans ruled there was insufficient evidence to warrant further review of the claim. Deborah Presley’s last name was Yandell, until she had it changed. A trust monitored by the Shelby County Probate Court manages the Presley estate for Lisa Marie Presley, 20, the singer’s only legal child, and she takes it over at age 25.
