Construction Financing for Generating Unit OKd

Texas-New Mexico Power Co. will begin construction of a second 150-megawatt circulating fluidized bed combustion generating unit in Robertson County, Tex., according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The TNP Enterprises subsidiary announced the closing of a $330-million financing facility in connection with the construction.
