Throughout the retail community, the day after Thanksgiving is known as THE shopping day, when most folks descend on the malls hoping to at least put a dent in their holiday gift list. The employees of Orange County’s 13 major malls have been decking their halls and gearing up over the past few weeks, and for good reason. According to the State Board of Equalization, $1 out of every $5 spent at Orange County retail stores in 1987 was spent at the malls, and most of those sales came in the period between the day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas. The following lists the 13 major malls and their plans for the holiday season:

ANAHEIM PLAZA
