Police are seeking a man who walked into a San Diego home Wednesday, shot and killed a resident, then calmly got into a car and fled the scene.
At 3:04 p.m., police found a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds in his home in the 2000 block of C Street, Sgt. Jim Long said.
Police refused to release the identity of the victim but said the killing probably was drug- or gang-related.
San Diego Councilman Bob Filner was a few blocks taking part in a photograph session on a revitalization of 25th Street when the crime occurred.
