The Omni San Diego Hotel has made San Diego Mini Concerts an offer they couldn’t refuse: a rent-free space for its free series of classical and jazz chamber music concerts. For the past 1 1/2 years, the noontime Monday Mini Concerts have been performed at the Lyceum Theatre. For the remainder of this season, beginning this Monday, the concerts will be held in Omni’s City Colors Room, at 910 Broadway circle, half a block from the Lyceum. The Harry Pickens jazz trio is scheduled for Monday’s noon to 1 p.m. concert. The trio is made of pianist Pickens, bassist Gunnar Biggs and drummer Charles McPherson Jr.
