Sanders Wins Camp Trophy

NEW HAVEN, Conn. —
Barry Sanders of Oklahoma State, the nation’s leading rusher and top scorer, was named winner of the Walter Camp Trophy Saturday.
Sanders, a junior, has rushed for 2,296 yards in 10 games, scored a record 35 touchdowns and averaged more than 7.5 yards a carry. He has 1 game left, against Texas Tech next Saturday in Japan.
The Walter Camp Trophy is named for the legendary Yale coach.
