Cimco Inc. posted net income of $753,932 for its fiscal second quarter ended Oct. 31, a 15% increase from the $654,882 reported for the comparable quarter last year. Sales for the quarter rose 47%, to a record $13.9 million. Sales for the year-earlier quarter totaled $9.5 million. For the first half of fiscal 1989, net income increased 22%, to $1.7 million from $1.4 million. Sales rose 53%, to $27.1 million from the $17.6 million reported for the comparable 6-month period last year. Cimco, based in Costa Mesa, manufactures thermoplastic components and sub-assemblies and supplies special-purpose and custom polymeric compounds for original equipment manufacturers in the electronics, computer, transportation, health care and defense industries.
