KIIS-FM radio personality Rick Dees is being paid $2 million a year in a five-year deal with the station, according to Daily Variety. Dees’ five-year contract extension makes him one of the nation’s highest paid radio personalities, the entertainment industry trade paper said. The paper said Dees signed the contract during the summer and it calls for him to appear on the weekend edition of the syndicated show “USA Today: The Television Show.” Dees’ “Weekly Top 40” show, which airs on 350 stations nationwide, is a separate venture.
