Home Savings of America in Los Angeles is phasing out its commercial and industrial loan division in a move that eliminates 65 jobs in nine locations around the country. A Home Savings spokeswoman said the thrift would try to find jobs for the affected employees in other parts of the firm, which employs some 13,000 people nationwide.
