PERU CRASH KILLS WIFE OF JERSEY CITY MAYOR

CUZCO, Peru — The wife of the mayor of Jersey City, N.J., was killed Thursday along with the wife of the mayor of this ancient Inca capital when a train derailed while on its way to the ruins of Macchu Picchu and plunged down a cliff, police said.
A police spokesman identified the U.S. mayor’s wife as Anna Cucci, 62, of Jersey City and the Cuzco mayor’s wife as Doris Mayorga Chacon. Jersey City Mayor Anthony Cucci was among eight people who were injured.
