Peete Named USC’s Most Valuable Player

Quarterback Rodney Peete was named USC’s most valuable player for the second straight year Sunday night at the school’s football awards banquet at the Biltmore Hotel.
Wide receiver Erik Affholter was named the offensive player of the year and linebacker Scott Ross the defensive player of the year.
Fullback Leroy Holt was named the most inspirational player.
