Gorbachev on CNN, ABC

Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev’s arrival in New York will be covered live at noon today on CNN’s “The International Hour.” How New York prepared for the visit will be covered on ABC’s “Nightline” at 11:30 tonight.
Wednesday, CNN will have live coverage of Gorbachev’s arrival at the United Nations (7 a.m.) and his address to the General Assembly (8 a.m.). “Nightline” Wednesday will focus on the speech and President Reagan’s reaction to it.
