Prosecution Rests Case in Bess Myerson Trial

NEW YORK —
The prosecution rested Monday in the alimony-fixing trial of former Miss America Bess Myerson, her boyfriend and the judge in the tangled case. Myerson, 64, millionaire sewer contractor Carl (Andy) Capasso, 43, and retired state Supreme Court Justice Hortense Gabel, 75, are on trial in Manhattan on bribery and related charges. The defense is expected to begin its case today.
