Ralph Bakshi, the creator of the hit CBS Saturday morning series, “The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse,” will produce and direct an animated special based on “The Butter Battle Book” by Ted Geisel--better known as Dr. Seuss. Geisel is writing the script for the program and lyrics for the songs. Chuck Jones, who directed the Peabody Award-winning adaptation of Geisel’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” is serving as a consultant. The half-hour special is scheduled to air on Turner Network Television next spring.
