The Orange County Federal Credit Union, one of the county’s faster-growing credit unions, has outgrown its downtown Santa Ana headquarters and will move this spring to new headquarters in southeast Santa Ana.

The credit union, the second-largest one based in the county, has signed a 10-year lease on 33,000 square feet of office space in the Birtcher Center on East Dyer Road near the Costa Mesa Freeway.

The credit union now occupies 24,000 square feet on 10 floors in a building across from the Civic Center, where it is convenient to the county government employees who make up about 60% of the membership. A full-service branch will remain in the Civic Center office.
