Culver City : Plans for Housing Project
The Culver City Redevelopment Agency will simultaneously pursue two approaches to building a senior citizens housing project on city-owned property on the 5100 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.
The agency will seek a nonprofit organization through which to apply for federal funds to build up to 50 units on the 3/4-acre site. The city needs a nonprofit partner because federal law prohibits public agencies from applying for the funds.
The city will also seek proposals from private developers interested in developing the project with existing Redevelopment Agency funds.
