Dion M. Cairns was appointed chief financial officer and vice president for finance and administration at Western Data Systems, a Woodland Hills supplier of computer software to the aerospace and defense industries.
Cairns most recently had headed his own management consulting firm, D.C. Services, and previously held financial management positions at Tecstor Inc. and Amplicon Inc. He also worked for the accounting firm Ernst & Whinney.
