Ingersoll Engineers Inc. says it has formed a consortium to bid for construction of a $200-million plastic auto parts plant in the Soviet Union.

The contract would be to design, equip and start a plant to make plastic parts for the Vaz 2110, a car the Soviets showed off last week at a trade show in New York, the Rockford company said Monday. Joining with Ingersoll in the venture are Cincinnati Milacron Inc.; Autocorp, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Williams White Inc., Moline, Ill.; and Digital Equipment Corp., Maynard, Mass.
