KVC Home Video has signed an agreement to acquire struggling independent film distributor Atlantic Entertainment Group, the companies announced. The deal will yield a fully integrated mini-studio with both feature film production and home video distribution capabilities. The price was not disclosed. The transaction is expected to be completed in 30-45 days. Indianapolis-based KVC has been a leader in prerecorded videocassette sales, specializing in children’s and physical fitness titles. Atlantic is based in Los Angeles.
