David W. Mayne and Melvin Posin, two of the founders of Printronix Inc., an Irvine-based manufacturer of computer printers, will retire effective Jan. 1. Mayne, who is currently senior vice president-corporate development, will continue as a member of the board of directors. Posin, senior vice president-world trade, will become a consultant to the company.
