A man who police said stole a limousine with a bridal party in the back seat last weekend in Boston was arrested and charged with kidnaping, unarmed robbery and larceny charges, police said. Officials said Michael Callahan, 35, was arrested after detectives traced clothing they found in a van they say he used in robbing a tailor shop. Callahan pleaded innocent in Dorchester District Court and was ordered held on $50,000 bail. He is due back in court Dec. 30. Police charge that Callahan commandeered a limousine Saturday after its driver stopped at a convenience store to purchase soft drinks for the bride, Sharon Moccia, and her bridesmaids. The bridal party said the car thief told them he needed the car to escape police. He dropped the bridal party off at St. Mark’s Church.
