I want to thank Terry McGarry for the article (Nov. 7) on my facility. I was especially impressed by the thoroughness of his research. It is all too often the case that independent facilities that house exotic animals are treated as frivolous eccentricities. It means a great deal to me and my colleagues that, if our work is to be reported publicly, it is done in a manner as professional as you have.
