A 19-year-old man was arrested in Culver City in connection with last month’s $1-million robbery at Slavick’s Jewelers in South Coast Plaza, police said. Jereal (Delvin) Deon Griffin of Hawthorne was arrested by Culver City police on a warrant for driving with a suspended license, officers said. It was discovered then that he had several other warrants for misdemeanors in Los Angeles County and for the Orange County jewelry store robbery. Costa Mesa police said they identified him through a fingerprint found at the robbery scene. Four heavily armed men entered Slavick’s just before closing time on Nov. 22, ordered employees and customers to lie on the floor, then emptied the display cases. A warrant is outstanding for another suspect, Michael Jac, also known as Michael Sean Reed, 21, police said.
