The Bush League, Round 2

The Tennis Cabinet of George Bush continues to build. Last week, seven senior appointees of the new Administration were known to share the President-elect’s love of tennis. Two more names were added Thursday.

Dr. Louis W. Sullivan, dean of Atlanta’s Morehouse School of Medicine, was chosen as secretary of health and human services. A “B” player, he regularly faces off with Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young. His strength: Hustle. His weakness: He’s a gentleman and a southpaw.

Samuel K. Skinner, head of Chicago’s Regional Transportation Authority, was named transportation secretary. He is said to be a far better golfer but always carries a tennis racket in his car. Unfortunately, it’s a Jack Kramer autograph model--a rather elderly wood racket by Wilson.
