An unidentified man was killed after being struck by an Amtrak train Friday, police said.
The train was southbound in the Genesee Avenue area when the engineer spotted a man sitting on the tracks. The train was traveling 65 m.p.h.
The man reportedly stood up before being hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He is described as in his 60s.
