NEWARK, N.Y. —
Two Canadian teen-agers with just an hour of flying lessons between them took an airplane Saturday and headed to Florida, but their adventure ended when they crash-landed in a field, police said.
Neither youth was seriously hurt, but both complained of bruises, an investigator said.
The youths reportedly stole a single-engine Cessna in Lindsay, Ontario, and were flying under a full moon when they were forced to land in a potato field in Savannah, N.Y., the officer said.
