Datron Unit Awarded $12 Million in Contracts
Datron Systems in Simi Valley said its Trans World Communications unit was awarded contracts totaling more than $12 million.
The contracts call for Escondido-based Trans World to supply VHF radio communications systems to two European countries. The countries were not identified.
In the first installment, Datron will receive $3.3 million for initial shipments of the systems over the next 11 months. Datron makes a variety of communications and defense electronics products.
