“Kid Leo” Travagliante, operations manager and afternoon drive-time disc jockey at Cleveland’s WMMS-FM--the radio station long voted rock’s best by Rolling Stone readers--is switching over to the record executives’ world. On Sunday, Travagliante, 38, will join Columbia Records as executive vice president, heading artist development. WMMS assistant general manager Jo Ellen Ferington said that although Travagliante left the station Dec. 16, no regular replacement has been found. Travagliante will continue to host WMMS’ “Cleveland Classics,” a series of 1-hour programs airing through the holidays and picking up again in February.
