That The Times needs to spend 19 paragraphs discussing whether a man of Louis Sullivan’s stature should be judged for secretary of health and human services primarily on his abortion views is reprehensible.
Health and human services encompass the whole spectrum. If the Bush Administration has such tunnel vision on this, can we expect much better on other issues?
