Chile School Fire Kills 11

SANTIAGO, Chile —
Eleven teen-age boys died and five were injured in a reform school fire that was apparently set to cover a mass escape attempt, police said Sunday. Eighty-five youths fled in the confusion during the New Year’s Eve fire, but 66 were found immediately. Authorities were searching for the others.
