Loyola Marymount Receives Grant

Loyola Marymount University has received its second three-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education to train special-education teacher candidates in cross-cultural and English as a Second Language strategies. The $225,000 federal grant will enable the university to provide financial assistance for teacher trainees who want to work effectively with ethnic and language minority students in special-education programs.
