The World : Kidnapers Want Drug Kingpin Released
Gunmen in Colombia who reportedly kidnaped two U.S. missionaries have demanded the release of Carlos Lehder Rivas, an extradited drug kingpin sentenced in the United States last year to life without parole, a spokesman for the Protestant missionary group said. Missionaries Richard Grover, 50, of Minneapolis, and Roy Libby, 50, of Atlanta, were kidnaped Tuesday night in the southwestern village of La Florida.
