NATION : Irangate Story at End: Thornburgh

Share

Atty. Gen. Richard Thornburgh said today that the public has learned as much as it ever will about the Iran-Contra scandal.

Thornburgh told ABC’s “Good Morning America” that extensive congressional hearings and a review by a presidential commission has provided Americans with all they will ever know. North after U.S. intelligence agencies blocked disclosure of classified information that he said was needed for his case. Walsh’s move raised questions about whether the full story would ever come out.
