President Reagan’s son Michael Reagan has signed a two-year contract to do news, weather and sports as co-host of a morning radio talk show in San Diego. “I’m excited about it. You can be the ugliest person ever and do well on radio,” says Reagan, 43, the son of Ronald Reagan and ex-wife Jane Wyman. He’ll join KSDO radio Monday to work with Jack Merker who’s on the air Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m.-9 a.m. Financial terms of his contract with the ABC affiliate were not disclosed. “It’s not the money. The biggest thing is keeping yourself out in public,” said Reagan, who often has filled in for vacationing talk show hosts at KABC Radio. And will he have the President on his show? “I imagine he will be in the news so I will be talking about him.” Michael Reagan said his family will still reside in Sherman Oaks, and he’ll drive the 120 miles to work and stay in the San Diego home of friends during the week.
