Local News in Brief : Fullerton : Lost and Stolen Goods to Go on Auction Block

Lost and stolen goods recovered by the police and never claimed by their owners go on the auction block Jan. 28.
The bidding starts at 9 a.m. in the parking lot behind the Police Department building at 237 W. Commonwealth Ave. Everything from bicycles and power tools to typewriters and stereo equipment will be up for bid on a cash-only basis. Sales are final.
Money raised in the Police Department’s twice-a-year auctions goes into the city’s general fund.
