Desmond J. Heathwood has been named executive in charge of the investment management functions for the Boston Co.’s institutional markets group. Heathwood will continue as president and chief investment officer of Boston Co. of Southern California, headquartered in Los Angeles. He will divide his time between Los Angeles and Boston.
