South African President Pieter W. Botha left a military hospital in Cape Town, six days after suffering a mild stroke, and was driven to his suburban residence where he is expected to recuperate for about six weeks. Doctors have said that the Jan. 18 stroke left Botha, 73, with a weakened left arm and leg but did not affect his speech.
