Nation : 4 Shot Leaving D.C. School
Two gunmen opened fire into a crowd of students this afternoon outside a high school in an affluent neighborhood of the District of Columbia, wounding four people, including a 16-year-old boy who was shot in the face, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at 2:25 p.m. at Woodrow Wilson High School in the city’s northwest section just as hundreds of students were leaving the school, police said. Students scattered from the site in terror as the two gunmen opened fire.
WUSA-TV reported that between seven and nine shots were fired from an automatic weapon in rapid succession into the crowd of students.
