TV Academy to Honor Cronyn and Tandy

Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy will be saluted by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at a reception next Wednesday at the Beverly Hilton. Roddy McDowall will emcee the event, and academy president Doug Duitsman will present a special recognition certificate to the acting couple.

Both Cronyn and Tandy began their television careers 50 years ago, in 1939, he in the United States, she in England. They were married in Hollywood in 1942.
