Saul Irwin Kamin; Civic Leader, Philanthropist

Saul Irwin Kamin, 86, prominent civic leader and philanthropist in the Palm Springs area who presided over golf’s Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in 1977 and 1988. A one-time Pittsburgh car dealer who moved into the investment field, Kamin in retirement became a member of the Eisenhower Medical Center Board of Trustees. He also served the medical center as chairman of its development committee, member of the executive and financial committees and secretary of the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center.
