Gun Control and Tragedy in a Stockton Schoolyard
I grew up in Stockton, and lived for years in the quiet, tree-lined, friendly neighborhood one block from Cleveland School. My oldest boy went to grade school at Cleveland, and I still know some teachers there. Things don’t change much in Stockton.
This tragedy of the Cleveland School shooting has really made me aware of how deeply troubled the youth in our country are, that something so awful could happen in such a nice, quiet city as Stockton rather than in a bigger city such as I live in now. I’m terrified for my children’s futures!
What is to become of the United States? What in the world is the answer? God help us!
