Lucius Gregg, formerly vice president-public relations at the New York Daily News, has joined Hughes Aircraft Co., Los Angeles, as staff vice president-corporate communications. Hughes Aircraft is a unit of GM Hughes Electronics. Gregg, who has held public relations and other executive positions with a number of major banking and industrial corporations, succeeds Lee Pitt, who will retire after a transition period.
