Commodore International Ltd., said its second-quarter profit increased 38% to $38.2 million as sales rose 24% to $349 million. Income before an extraordinary item for the quarter ended Dec. 31 increased 74% to $38.2 million. The West Chester, Pa., computer maker cited a strong performance by its European operations, which accounted for slightly more than 70% of its total sales in the quarter, and strong sales in all three of its product lines.
