Frankly, my dear, Cadiz, Ohio, does give a damn. The town of 4,000, where Clark Gable was born 88 years ago, will be decked out in “Gone With the Wind” costumes Saturday to mark the anniversary of Gable’s birth. He was born Feb. 1, 1901 in the village not far from Wheeling, W. Va., though he never returned there after he became a star. “Gone With the Wind,” perhaps Gable’s most famous film, is 50 years old this year.
