ABC’s “Studio 5B,” a TV show about the making of a TV show, has been canceled after the airing of only two episodes. The series ranked dead last in last week’s Nielsen ratings (71st out of 71 prime-time programs), and the cast wrapped production Thursday after completing the ninth episode. ABC would not divulge whether or not all of the remaining episodes will air. The show is on the schedule for this Sunday at 8 p.m., then will be preempted the following Sunday by the movie “Bedknobs and Broomsticks,” and, as of now, is on the next week.
