Intel Corp. and American Telephone & Telegraph Co. announced a product and technology exchange agreement to jointly market and develop computer networking and communications chips. Analysts said the five-year agreement, in which AT&T; and Intel will sell each other’s local area network chips and integrated services digital network chips, will greatly strengthen Intel’s position in that lucrative market.
