The 10th Annual Black History Parade is scheduled to start its nearly 2-mile trek through Santa Ana streets at 10 a.m. Saturday and culminate in a 4-hour “Unity Festival” at Santa Ana Stadium.

Grand Marshals Ken Sagoes of the television show “What’s Happening Now” and Larry Carroll of Channel 7 Eyewitness News will lead the 100-unit parade that will include floats and marching bands. The route is from the 15th Street down Main Street to Civic Center Drive. The parade, which Santa Ana officials said attracted about 25,000 spectators last year, will head west on Civic Center Drive to the festival at the stadium on Flower Street. Starting at 1 p.m., the celebration will feature continuous entertainment, food and craft booths.
