Woman Arrested in Slaying of Husband

A Valley Center woman was arrested Saturday in connection with the slaying of her estranged husband. Roberta D. Pearce was arrested on suspicion of murder, said Sgt. Dan Goodrich of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Robert W. Pearce on Tuesday was stabbed numerous times and struck with a blunt instrument at an apartment apartment complex in the 2200 block of Carol View Drive, Cardiff. Witnesses to deputies they saw two youths flee the scene in a pick-up truck.
